Building Bridges Between Diplomacy, Business and Global Opportunity
In an increasingly interconnected world, diplomacy is no longer confined to government offices and formal negotiations. International relationships now extend into business, education, entrepreneurship, innovation and professional development.
The Diplomatic Institute has positioned itself at the intersection of these worlds, creating a platform designed to support diplomats, their families, businesses and international partners. Based in Israel, the Institute describes itself as a “Diplomatic and Business Bridge to Israel”, reflecting its broader objective of connecting international professionals and organizations with opportunities, knowledge and networks in Israel and beyond.
More Than Traditional Diplomacy
The Diplomatic Institute was established following three decades of direct experience working with diplomats from around the world. According to the Institute, this experience highlighted a gap in the support available to diplomatic personnel—particularly in dealing with the professional and personal challenges that accompany an international posting. Its stated vision is to improve the quality of work and life of diplomats by facilitating access to information, knowledge and relevant service providers.
The Institute therefore takes a broader approach than traditional diplomatic training, addressing practical needs alongside professional development. This approach is reflected in the Institute's four principal areas of activity: Diplomacy, Business Development, Academic programs and Special Projects.
An International Network
The Diplomatic Institute's website identifies a range of organizations among its customers and partners, including Ariel University, Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Israel Export Institute, the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, the Ministry of Economy, ZIM and PROCOMER, among others.
