Secretary-General thanks accomplished UN diplomat Dr. Léon Makitu Nzuiki for valuable assistance to EDU.

His Excellency Irving Levance met with accomplished UN diplomat, Dr. Léon Makitu Nzuiki to thank him personally for his support to the Intergovernmental Organization EDU.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Nzuiki is currently serving in Lisbon, Portugal, as the Director General of the Lisbon Chamber of Commerce of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is his native country. He is a US trained Juris Doctor who graduated from La Salle University and who also holds a Master of Laws from the University of Leicester in the UK. He has almost 40 years of diplomatic experience including 11 years in New York with the United Nations Development Programme and the Capital Development Fund.

The Secretary-General is grateful to Dr. Nzuiki for his advice, assistance and wise counsel in matters relating to international law and protocol which have proven to be a great asset to the Intergovernmental Organization EDU throughout its existence. The two diplomats discussed EDU development to date and areas of potential future development and consolidation.

PARTICIPATION WITH EDU

Dressed for the occasion in traditional Congolese attire, Dr. Nzuiki cut a dashing figure and symbolised the commitment of the Intergovernmental Organization EDU to direct its efforts at promoting education and understanding with programs directed at developing countries
